Volunteer for a Committee

    The Architectural Committee works together to review and standardize requests for exterior changes, such as windows, doors and patio modifications, to ensure they meet the community’s design standards. Their job is to preserve the neighborhood’s appearance, property values, and overall aesthetic consistency.

    The Digital Team manages the community’s online presence, including the website, email communications, and digital records, to keep residents informed and connected. They ensure information is accurate, accessible, and up-to-date while supporting efficient, modern communication between the board and members.

    The Elections Team aids in the process of annual or special vote elections.  The team prioritizes fairness, transparency, and compliance with governing documents. They verify voter eligibility, process ballots and count votes in an accurate and unbiased manner.

    The Garden Committee plans, maintains, and enhances the clubhouse entrance flower bed and other designated spaces to create a welcoming and attractive environment. They coordinate plantings, seasonal clean-ups, and beautification projects while encouraging resident involvement in caring for the community’s landscape.

    The Handbook Committee reviews, updates, and organizes policies and guidelines to ensure they’re clear, accurate, and easy for residents to understand. They work to keep the handbook current with community needs, legal requirements, and board decisions.

  • Contact: PHCA Board of Trustees
    The Landscape Committee oversees the overall care and improvement of the community’s outdoor areas, including lawns, trees, plantings, and common grounds. They provide feedback for the Board, landscapers, review maintenance needs, and recommend enhancements to keep the property attractive, healthy, and well-maintained.

    The Pool Committee helps oversee the safe, clean, and efficient operation of the community pool. They monitor maintenance needs, review policies, and support a positive experience for all residents during the swim season.

    The Social Committee plans and hosts events that bring the community together, such as seasonal activities, and family-friendly celebrations. Their goal is to build connection, engagement, and a strong sense of community among all residents.

  • Contact: Dori Audette
    The Standards Committee reviews community standards and internal processes to ensure they align with the HOA’s governing documents. On occasion they will be asked to review special projects input and best practice. They help maintain compliance, consistency, and fairness in how rules and policies are applied.

    The Limited Tort/Immunity Team was assembled out of a need to amend our By-Laws to include limited tort immunity language to help minimize frivolous lawsuits and keep rising insurance costs in check. To make such an amendment requires a 2/3rds vote of the community. Tort Team members plan, organize and get the vote out.

    The Helping Hands team aid our Seniors who need assistance. Think of errands, transportation, check-ins or help organize bills. The goal is to have a helping hand available in the event one of our residents is in need.

    The Pedestrian Safety Team focuses on improving safety for residents walking within the community. They review crosswalks, signage, pathways, and traffic patterns, and recommend measures to reduce risks and promote a secure, walkable environment.

    The Neighborhood Watch Committee helps promote safety and security within the community by encouraging resident vigilance and reporting of suspicious activity. They coordinate with local law enforcement, share safety information, and foster a culture of awareness and prevention.
